Eindhoven Airport temporarily closed in 2027
Eindhoven Airport will be closed from 1 February to 18 July 2027 due to the renovation of the runway. During this period, Transavia will not operate any flights from Eindhoven. We have found two easily accessible alternatives for travellers from the region, so you can still go on holiday.
Weeze Airport (Flughafen Niederrhein)
Weeze Airport (Flughafen Niederrhein) is a small airport just across the border in Germany. Travellers from North Brabant, Limburg or the Nijmegen region can reach the airport quickly and without any hassle. The terminal is small, easy to navigate and calm. Parking is close by and affordable. In short: an excellent airport to start your holiday from.
From Weeze Airport, Transavia flies to Alicante, Málaga, Barcelona, Faro, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Lisbon, Gran Canaria, Marrakech, Seville, Tenerife and Valencia.
Maastricht Aachen Airport
Maastricht Aachen Airport is centrally located in the south of the Netherlands, a short distance from Maastricht, and easily accessible from Limburg, Belgium and Germany. The airport is compact and easy to navigate, with short waiting times and smooth check-in processes. Parking is available right next to the terminal: affordable and hassle-free. A calm and stress-free place to fly from!
From Maastricht Aachen Airport, Transavia flies to Alicante, Málaga, Faro, Gran Canaria, Palma de Mallorca, Seville, Tenerife and Valencia.
