With Transavia Holidays, you can easily choose your flight, hotel and rental car in one go. Plan your perfect holiday for a great price. When you book a holiday with Transavia Holidays, you enter into an agreement with Airtrade. What are the benefits?

With Transavia Holidays, you can put together your ideal package holiday. You combine our comfortable flights with one of the thousands of hotels and rental cars for an affordable price. As well as the convenience of arranging everything with one party, your trip will be cheaper than if you book each element individually. Furthermore, you have additional guarantees: Airtrade is an organisation affiliated with the ANVR (Dutch Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators) and SGR, which guarantees your trip has good coverage. You also have a repatriation guarantee with us. We will always bring you safely back home!

Which destinations can I choose from and how do I book?

On transavia.com, you can see the destinations we fly to and the departing airports. Decided where you want to go? Then book your Transavia Holiday via holidays.transavia.com.

Please note: unfortunately, you cannot book a return flight from a different destination at this time.

Can I book several hotels for one trip?

At this time it is not possible to book several hotels within one booking via Transavia Holidays.

Would you like to indicate a preference at the hotel, such as a room with a sea view or separate beds? Then please contact Airtrade.

Which names do I enter with my booking?

Enter the name exactly as it is stated in your passport. Do you have several first names? Then you only have to fill in the first one. Are you married? Then fill in your maiden name. After booking, the names on your ticket may be in a different order, without spaces and with MR, MRS or MS between the names, that is fine. Is your name spelled wrong on your ticket? Then, we charge a fee to change it.

Do children and babies travel at a discount?

Yes, children under 12 years of age travel at a discount. This is included in the total price. The price per person is the total price divided by all passengers. A child under two years old during the outbound and return trips travels on your lap.

Which payment options are there?

You can pay using iDEAL, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Unfortunately, you cannot pay in instalments. Please note: There is a booking fee of €10 per booking and €2.50 per booking for the Emergency Fund (Calamiteitenfonds).

Can I pay in instalments with Transavia Holidays?

If you book your holiday more than 6 weeks before departure, you can pay in 2 installments. When completing your booking, you will pay 50% of the total costs (the full price of travel, costs of cancellation insurance, if any, disaster insurance funds, and booking fees). You will then pay the remaining amount 6 weeks before departure. We will send you a reminder e-mail in due time.

Please note that it is not possible to pay in 2 instalments if you have booked an individual flight ticket, if you have made the booking during a promotion without a deposit, or if you have made the booking within 6 weeks of departure.

I have (pre)paid for my holiday. When can I receive my travel documents?

Your travel documents will be created and e-mailed to you approximately 4 weeks before departure. If at that time you have still not received them, please get in touch with our Service Centre.

Can I change booked tickets or redeem a voucher for a Transavia Holiday?

Unfortunately, you cannot convert your individual tickets to a package holiday. Neither can you use a voucher you have received for a Transavia Holiday.

My destination, booked with Transavia Holidays, has code orange. What happens now?

If your destination becomes an orange zone before departure, there is a good chance that we will have to cancel your holiday. We will inform you of this seven days before departure at the latest. If your holiday is cancelled you will be refunded the full price of your booking.

If your destination becomes an orange zone while you are on holiday, we will get in touch with you. You will then be able to choose to stay and fly home with your original booking, or to go home directly. If you go for the second option, we will arrange and pay for your whole return trip.

Information about corona at your destination

Is hold luggage included?

Hold luggage is not included. You can of course select that yourself while making your booking. Do you want to book extra luggage? You do that via My Transavia? It is also where you can reserve a seat and compensate for your CO2 emissions.

What guarantees do I have with a Transavia Holiday?

Transavia Holidays is provided by Airtrade. Airtrade is an organisation affiliated with the ANVR (Dutch Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators) and SGR which guarantees your trip has good coverage. Additionally, your booking falls under the terms and conditions of ANVR and SGR.

If you rent a car via Transavia Holidays, then you benefit from:

  • Unlimited kilometres
  • Additional liability coverage of €7.5 million
  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
  • Theft Protection (TP)
  • Policy excess refund
  • Glass, tyres, underbody, roof coverage

Therefore, you do not need to take out any additional insurance. The person booking the trip will be the main driver of the rental car. The main driver should be between 25 and 65 years old. If you are not in that age group, then please contact Airtrade. The person making the booking should have a valid credit card (with PIN code) on their name.

How long can a Transavia Holiday last?

The minimum duration of a trip with Transavia Holidays is two nights. The maximum duration of a trip is 29 nights. Good to know: you can book a trip up to four days prior to departure.
