The old and new centre of Kalamata are great to explore by bike. Cycle through the old centre towards the castle that towers above the city. Had enough of the brilliant view? Then it is time to explore the Palia Poli centre. Here you will find incredibly tasty food! Be sure to also check out the interesting architecture of Panagia Ypapanti cathedral. Have a drink in the new centre on the bustling Vasileos Georgiou square and go shopping after that on the Aristomenous shopping street. In the nearby railway park, check out the old steam locomotives and the old train station. It is a real treat for young and old alike.
