The old and new centre of Kalamata is easily explored by bicycle. Cycle through the old city towards the castle that towers over the city. Did you enjoy the beautiful views? Then it's time to discover the centre of Palia Poli. A great place to enjoy delicious food! Take a look at the unique architecture of the Panagia Ypapanti cathedral. Head to lively Vasileos Georgiou square in the new centre for drinks and browse the popular Aristomenous shopping street. Visit the old steam locomotives and the old train station in the nearby railway park, a great spot for people of all ages. And last but not least, do visit the beach.
