Discover Alicante's sights
Alicante is the second biggest city in the region after Valencia. Start your day at 9th century castle of Casatillo de Santa Bárbara. The castle is located on the Monte Benacantil mountain, from which you will have a wonderful view of the city, port, and Mediterranean Sea. The San Nicolás Cathedral is also nearby. It's an impressive building with majestic architecture and a quiet courtyard. Don't forget the Explanada de España, the iconic promenade with mosaics and palm trees, perfect for a romantic sunset walk.
